Sniffapalooza
Spring Fling! This past week we were at Sniffapalooza - an incredible New York event that brings together passionate fragrance lovers from around the world. The group started several years ago as a small forum for fragrance enthusiasts to get together and share their passion for perfume. Since then, it has evolved into a large, global fragrance community that has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Allure Magazine and Forbes. Karen Adams and Karen Dubin are the masterminds behind the group - two very talented and insightful women who are truly changing the way that people look at - and talk about - perfume.
Kelly & Jones was featured on the Sunday (Downtown Day) roster - a lovely luncheon followed by our wine and perfume pairing. We chose to whiff our Notes of Sauvignon Blanc, and we paired it with a lovely New Zealand 2010 Babich, from our friends at Sherry-Lehmann wine merchants.
We were in the company of such inspiring fragrance lines. Kim Spadaro's positively mesmerizing and gorgeous fragrances are "a tribute to the spirit of adventure and the journey of self-discovery." Her story is an incredible inspiration. We also met the talented Charna Ethier of Providence Perfume Company, a luscious line of natural, handcrafted fragrances. And we must give a heartfelt thanks to our Master of Ceremonies, Mark Behnke of CaFleureBon.
It was so wonderful to see all of our fragrance friends at this special event. Now we can't wait for Sniffapalooza Fall Ball! Stay tuned and join us there!
