Our Pumpkin Prosecco candle is back for Fall!
Inspired by a glass of bubbly, this fragrance is spiked with effervescent pumpkin. It's a fresh interpretation of the favorite seasonal pumpkin scent.
Notes of Cinnamon, Clove, Nutmeg and Cardamom are wrapped in Sparkling Amber for a truly cozy essence.
Last week, I met my mom in the kitchen to perfect my favorite fall cocktail recipe. We had a lot of fun sipping and adjusting the recipe to get the perfect blend. This drink is, of course, best paired with our Pumpkin Prosecco candle!
A pumpkin simple syrup is the secret ingredient. Make your own pumpkin purée, or use canned pumpkin.
Use a wine sieve to filter the purée. A small mesh colander works just as well! Getting some of the solids out will keep the prosecco clear and sparkling.
We used star anise for a garnish, since it adds to the sensorial enjoyment when sipping with its unique fragrance. You can add your own Fall touches as well - a thin slice of pumpkin, a brown sugar rim, or a vanilla bean.
Light your Pumpkin Prosecco candle, and raise a glass!
K+J's Pumpkin Prosecco
1 cup water
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp. pumpkin puree
1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 bottle of Prosecco
Heat water over medium high heat and bring to a boil. Lower heat to medium and stir in the sugar, whisking until completely dissolved. Add the puree and spice and stir until well blended. Cool slightly and pour syrup through a wine sieve into a decorative bottle or pitcher.
Place 1 Tbsp. of pumpkin syrup in a champagne glass and top off with Prosecco. Garnish with star anise.
Refrigerate leftover syrup up to one week for adding to coffee or tea.
